"Invitation" to a by mail baby shower?

| Did I read this right?If I were you, I would have filed that "invitation" in the round file and sent the hostess a book on baby shower etiquette. I agree...this is tactless, rude, presumptious and most of all, greedy. People who attend a shower are under NO obligation to bring a gift. For the hostess or mother-to-be to assume that everyone invited would bring a gift is tacky...and tasteless.EMT |

| Send them a cheap gift and tell them to send a thank you card by a certain date!!!!! |
