|
|
| I'm getting a new computer and can't find the original disks for PhotoShop. What's the best way to move PhotoShop to a new computer without the original disks? It is a legit copy and I have the registration number and am registered with Adobe. Adobe doesn't have replacement CDs for PhotoShop 6 because they phased it out. I have an external HDD where I could copy the PhotoShop files, but what about those pesky registry keys? Aren't they scattered in various Windows folders? My old computer uses XP and the new computer will have Vista Home. Yeah I know Vista is not hip and happening, the new computer is a gift so I can't complain. |

| The easiest thing to do and most legal would be to contact customer service at 800-833-6687 and let them know what you want to do. all you would have to do is give them your information such as what credit card you used to originally pay for photoshop and then they would charge you, I believe $15, and they will send out a whole new cd for you to use on your new computer. |
