|
|
| I purchased the accessory pillows to a bedspread set for a bridal shower gift off of someone'e registry and though the couple pillows were quite expensive, I still feel cheezy giving pillows as a gift. Therefore, does anyone have a great gift wrapping idea for how to present them? Thanks! |

| Stack them, tie a fancy ribbon around them, make a pretty bow at the top, attach a gift tag on a ribbon. Or you could use the old stand by , a gift bag with tissue. |

| Since they requested the pillows, it's not cheesy at all to give them as a gift. They'll be happy to get them. You could use a nice piece of fabric and fancy wide ribbon. Or, using the fabric, you could bring the ends together and tie them into a bow, furoshiki style. Examples here:http://furoshiki.com/techniques.php |

| Wrap each one individually and stack them with a nice ribbon and big bow on top. I usually add a bride and groom beanie baby set to place on top of the gift. It looks so cute! Double sided tape helps them stay on. Good luck.p.s. If the pillows were from the registry and they cost quite a bit, do not feel cheesy at all. You are giving the gift the bride asked for. |

| Get some wrapping paper that looks like expensive upholstery fabric. Wrap each pillow seperately. Get some nice braid or yardage trim to glue around the edges and 8 tassels to attach to the four corners of each gift wrapped pillow...so they look like fancy throw pillows. Now on your computer, pick a nice Font and color ink to match the wrap and print one sheet with "HIS" and another with "HERS" on them. Using fancy or scalloped egded scissors, cut around the wording and attach one of these to each of the pillows. And your gift isn't cheezy!!!!!!!!! It's something they wanted or they wouldn't have registered them. |

| Don't feel cheezy about giving pillows -- seriously! They are a great gift, and the couple is going to get a lot more use from them than a gravy boat that they trot out once a year. As for wrapping, go to the fabric store and buy tulle (the net fabric that they make ballerina skirts from) in a pretty color with matching wide grosgrain ribbon. Buy a lot - like 10 yards. Wrap this around the pillows (probably you will want a double or triple layer for fullness, tie at the top with the ribbon (fluffing out the tulle), and put in a plain white gift bag. |
