|
|
| I am the maid of honor in one of my best friend's wedding. I have already purchased a wedding gift off of her bed bath and beyond bridal registry. But her shower is coming up and I don't know what to get! Do I get something else off of the registry? I thought that it would seem like I didn't put any thought into it! Is there something else I can get on my own that would be nice? And no lingerie...her mom's gonna be there and I feel like that may be weird...I want it to be something she can open in front of people. HELP! |

| Well, a nice personalized gift just for the bride would be nice. For example, does she work out at a gym? How about getting her a gym bag with her new monogram on it, and then fill it with things like spa stuff so she can pamper herself. Or, if she doesn't have a nice set of luggage you could do that so she has something for the honeymoon? Or, if she's really into jewelry, go to your local jeweler and buy her something in silver that's really fitting to her. If you get her something that will last a long time, she'll cherish it forever. |

| I'd get something else off her registry - maybe something very different from what I was giving for the wedding, and less expensive. Linens or something. |

I'd also say something off her registry. She created it with her fiance, so they are all things that want or need for their home. It's a win-win situation! You're very sweet though for trying to make your gift special. |

| You know what my MOH did? She got me and my (husband now ) a bunch of gift certificates. She went to all sorts of restaurants by my house that I told her in the past I enjoyed, and she got a certificate to each one!!! The thought was very sweet!! She actually made note of my mention and followed through!! |

| Lingerie is what's expected at a bridal shower; but if you feel uncomfortable; you can't go wrong with smell goods from victoria secrets; or a plush robe with matching slippers, gift certificate or put together a basket of goodies for her honeymoon night ie. candles, champagne, bubble bath etc., |
