It's hard to say. It seems to me that she enjoys your company or else she wouldn't spend time with you. Perhaps she is waiting for you to make the move to hug and perhaps even she is asking this exact question to yahoo answers! If you want something more from her, tell her you like her, in more than just friends way. Be prepared though that if she just wants to be friends, you might end up harboring resentment towards her because she doesn't want more than just friends.

one before parting you could have asked her for a hug...there is nothing wrong with that...how long have you been together...cauz sometimes timing plays apart in relationships...for now my sujection is just give it some more time...you don't want to rush it...just enjoy what you have...try and build more...find other ways to get close so you will know when the right time is to tell her how you feel...sometimes when you put your feelings out there too soon you get told something that makes you wish you should have waited...some signals get crossed in all the wrong ways...it's better to be safe then sorry...but also don't wait to long to tell her how you feel...smoochzz

It sounds like you're just a guy friend. If you've been out with her more than twice and haven't had any flirty talk or physical contact (like handholding or a lip kiss) then it doesn't sound like there's any chemistry on her end. She may be letting you think your outings are "dates" so that you'll pay...or maybe she's worried you'd be offended if she wanted to pay for herself and doesn't want to lose your company. But it doesn't sound like she is mentally on a "date" with you.Women like having a few male friends that we can just goof around and hang out with. It reminds us of that innocent time when we were all just a bunch of kids and didn't have to worry about sex and dating. But who knows. I could be wrong. Just ask her, "So are you seeing anyone special lately?"
