Do you have a pix of you and your mom?If you do you can go to Wal-mart and get it blown up in black and white and frame it ( you can find nice frames at Ross, Wal-mart, etc.) she will LOVE IT!And its not expensive..

If she is any kind of a good mom, she will be overjoyed that you made the trip to be part of her birthday. Moms get when their kids are low on cash. Give her an over the top card, even a hand made would be more cherished that a store bought one. Whatever her age is write down 43 reasons why you love her. (if her age is not 43 use her age). Then when gifts are being opened, you read that to her in front of all the guests. No expensive gift will ever trump the embracing of a mommy's heart. And this comes from a mommy of five kids.

Make her something sentimental but inexpensive. some examples:a collage of photosa scrapbook/photo albuma spa kit ( a bag filled with nail polish, lotions, candles, etc.) * a $15 iTunes gift card a card saying you will: take her to dinner, do her laundry or run her errands, ect.good luck! hope that helps! Remember, it's not the cost of the item, but the thought that counts!

if she really loves you she wouldn't care what you give her, as long as it is from the heart. you could even make her something or go downtown and get her a nice necklace that is not so expensive.
