| My boyrfiend bought a horse for me this past Valentines' Day; but uinfortunatley we've had some problems within the relationship, enough so that it might jeopardize it. My question is: If we seperate from the apt, do I have ownership of the horse since it was a gift to me? The only papers we have are her registered and vaccs...no contract. I have plenty of people who will testify that he himself said that she was my V-day gift |

| A gift has two legal requirements: present intent to give it, and delivery into the hands of the intended recipient. It sounds like your boyfriend gave you the horse, and he cannot revoke his gift to you. |
