She a 17 year old is a very sweet girl. However I feel like she is the wife and I am a guest when I am around. He asks her opinion about things all the time. I found a card from her to him for Valentines day (yes I was snooping) that says "Baby I wish you could feel how much I love you" and another one calling him naughty. He buys her expensive gifts and takes her everywhere with us. She brags how he does whatever she wants. She doesn't go hang out with her own friends like a normal teen. She is very open with talking about female problems with him. She will also walk in the room while he is in his underware. While watching a movie she will sit next to him and massage his feet or his head. I never had a close relationship with my dad so I'm not sure if this is normal. Am I over reacting. She has only lived with him for three years. She was abandoned by her father and her real mother left her with her stepdad when they got a divorce.

Sounds like this young lady is hoping she will become his one and only. She is over 16 which is the age of consent in most states. I'd think about moving on down the road.

I don't like to sound mean but girl, come on cant you see it, she may be sweet but she is still a 17yr old girl with ragging hormones, and if that was my boyfriend I would definitely say something to him about that how I'm noticing the weird relationship that is going on with his stepdaughter., how long have you been with him? Obviously it seems like they were already living alone for a while before you came into the picture, maybe he needs to be with a woman his age to cover up his dirty little secret, that he is having an affair with his 17yr old stepdaughter... he knows he can get charged and jailed if anyone finds out... get out while you can, when she turns 18Yrs old he probably will leave you... and you will not feel too good about it... so stop letting him use you and find someone who is not a prev like him.... who knows why her mom left them together, maybe it was already going on with them two before she left,,, maybe she got fed up.GOOD LUCK!!
