| You DO NOT put any kind of registry information in your invites. This type of information is included in the shower invitations. The only proper way to let people know is via word of mouth. You can go on-line and set up a honeymoon registry and let the word spread via your parents and bridal party. In all sincerity, why would you even care how it is worded??? In addition, if you cannot afford to go on a nice honeymoon how about waiting for a little and saving the money as opposed to having others foot the bill? You should not make people feel like they are obligated to contribute to your honeymoon fund because presents are NOT obligatory for guests--presents are really an option. |

| There are a lot of honeymoon registries out there, but most of them charge a certain percentage of the money you receive. How it works is just like how you would register for gifts from a store. You basically list out all the things you want (airfare, lodging, massages, excursions, etc.) One website that doesn't charge is honeyfund.com and we used it at our wedding. With honeyfund.com, your guests have a choice of either issuing the check to you or paying thru PayPal. |
