I already purchased really nice canvas bags for my girls with their names embroidered on the outside. Along with the bags I got them all matching earrings. I don't just want to hand them an empty bag so I'm trying to think of things to put inside it. I was thinking snacks, lotions, flip flops, bubble bath...things like that. Does anyone else have any ideas that I can add to the bag without breaking the bank??

Just fun, goofy things work...in addition to your ideas (which are great) you can add candy, personal letters written to each of them, the miniature travel games, gift certificates...

Maybe take some pictures of the wedding party doing things to get ready for the wedding and put them in a picture album to give them. You could get a picture of you with all the girls. Even some pictures of when you was growing up and you were all together.

That is all great stuff you've thought of but include a photo of the wedding group (bridesmaids and you)

Your ideas are very nice. If you want, you could theme them. For a beach theme, suntan lotion, flip flops, beach towel, bottle of water, a few snacks, sunglasses. A spa theme could include bubble bath, lotions, facial scrub, loofahs, face masks, candles, etc. If your wedding has a theme, you could go with that, otherwise pick out whatever you think the girls would like.

For mine - I bought them a sterling silver chain bracelet and a charm that was engraveable and had their names engraved. They still wear these - it was personal and I think around $20 each - wouldn't be much more now. I bought my daughter one last year, but had 3-4 charms put on and that was $50. A smaller chain is going to cost less.

I am also doing embroidered canvas bags. I am including a huge soft bath towel that is also embroidered, flip flops, and am trying to find cute sunglasses, also. My bags are pretty large, so the towel helps to fill the space, and who doesn't love an enormous fluffy white bath towel? My colors are black and white, so everything in the bag is too. Good luck!
