| well we started dating around december i got hi a gft ot expecting one so i gave it to him and he was liek oh what do u want for xmas n i said i didnt matter kause i didnt want to be picky so he said oh imma take u to disney land and dinner soo he never took me and for every month we have togheter i give him a gift and even for valentines day i made this whole special basket for him and he has never given me anything or done anything sweet what do i do kause i love him i just wish he would show up at my house with a flower atleast and tell me that he loves me |

| it seems like your boyfriend might be a little cheap. gifts are definitely not the most important part of a relationship,but you should take a moment to analyze if this lack of gift giving from him is giving you more insight into his personality. does he ever say sweet things to you or done something nice for you? if the answer to both of these is no, you have to decide if you are the only one making an effort in your relationship. this might not be the guy for you. think about it. |

| this might sound childish but it might just work....... send him a text which is not meant for him....saying something like, "oh thats really sweet,(he) promised to take me to disney land and im still waiting, you have a really generous guy there, lucky you! have a good time!!! - if he doesnt get the hint then maybe you need to. |

| no, it's not normal. no christmas present? i know guys who aren't romantic at all who wouldn't ignore valentines day. he doesn't sound very committed to your relationship at all. stop giving him gifts he doesn't deserve!! |
