| My dance coach is having her first baby, but she decided not to find out the sex of the baby. what would be a good gift that every new mother needs that would be good for both sexes, and something a 17 y.o get? |

| I would suggest light green or yellow clothes. Or maybe necessary items such as bottles, bibs, diapers, wipes. Anything that you can fit into your budget. There are so many items to pick from. You can also find out if she registered anywhere and choose something off the list. Good luck!! |

| Diapers!!!!! The more the better! Wipes, bottles(if planing to bottle feed) Bath towels, socks, blankets, bath toys, baby body wash, shampoo, lotion, onesies, bibs, toys, that's all I can think of... |

| I would recommend a JJ Cole bundle me. It's a cover that goes on the car seat.. so in the winter months.. the baby can stay warm with out having to put a snow suit on the baby.A boppy Pillow.. those are nice to have with a new born.Car seat toys... something with rattles or bells that jingle.A health kit.. so a thermometer, nose sucker, nail clippers, and so on..all of those can be found at babies r us.. or target |

| They love to get a nice big box of diapers. I have also bought one of those baby tubs and filled it with confetti and little things like socks, pacifiers, and other much needed items. |

| I've found a very cool baby gift that I've been giving to all of my friends having kids. It's a DVD and CD called That Baby DVD and That Baby CD that has some amazing cover versions of songs written by Natalie Merchant, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, etc. The versions of these songs are awesome--mellow enough for babies, but not dumbed down lullaby music. The moms always love it as much as their kids! Check out the sample tracks on their website. Very good stuff. |
