| I'm planning a baby shower for a friend and I have alot of great games planned but I'm unsure who actually gets to keep the gift. Would the gift go to the winner or the expecting mother? Thanks so much! |

| Hey I've been to tons of baby showers and the person who wins the game always gets a gift. Most showers I have been to give away candles, potpourri. Anything girlie. |

| I am giving a babyshower tomorrow...anyway the actual winner gets the gift, but if you would rather you can give them something that they could give the mother as a gift. |

| For the game I guess the person who wins it but it' usual at a baby shower to give a gift for the baby.. something useful if you don't know it will be a boy or girl.. something both can use or something mom needs ..such a baby blanket, a toy for newborns or babies..a gift for mom but which is to be used for the baby... a baby bath.... things a new mom needs for her baby..or things for the baby are normal gifts to give for a baby shower... the games that is quite apart and a good idea but mom or the baby should not be forgotten and in the game the person who wins it.. should get the gift... hopefully something everyone can use XX also those without small children..xx |

The winner gets the gift. Don't forget to do a little drawing of some type for a "door prize" too.By the way, a great "gift" for the expectant parents would be Thank You cards and postage stamps to send to those who gave a gift. Have each guest "sign" their name and address in a pretty guest book, which is of course also a gift for the expectant parents.  |

| I can not beleive this question.I been to probly 50 baby showers and the prize always goes to the winner.Its supposed to be fun for everyone not just the new mom who will receive hoards of stuff.If I won I would not give it to the Mom to be either.I would keep it forever as a special momento of the baby shower. |
