My fiance's mom just told me last night that she found some Revereware (sp?) pans that she bought for me, since I had mentioned I've always wanted a set but couldn't find any anywhere. I had registered for some other pans at Target, and today I went to my registry to remove them, and noticed someone must have bought them in the last couple of days! So obviously someone will be giving that to us for our wedding, but I'd prefer the Revereware pans (and she can't return those - they were at Salvation Army, which is fine with me, cuz they look almost new!). If I get the pans from Target without a gift receipt, can I return the set for store credit at least? I don't know where to find their return policy for this. Thanks!I'm ok with just getting store credit, since I'm sure not everything we're registered for will be bought, I'm just curious if they do that without a gift receipt, and I can't find their return policy on their site. Finally found their policy on their site - Meggy Jo is right: no receipt, no return. Dang. Oh, well, I guess in the scheme of things, it's not a huge deal. I'll just wait and see if I get a gift receipt with it.

Target has a rotten return policy, but yes, your registry counts as a gift receipt. You’ll get store credit.

It should be the same as everything else in the store as long as you have a receipt and the package is sellable (not broken or with tag).

Not to scare you, but I've heard Target is notorious for giving hassle to registry returns. Apparently, it's almost impossible without a receipt, so hope that whoever bought them for you included the gift receipt! Good luck!

Target's policy is "No reciept, no return"They will give a store credit for up to 2 items under $20, i'm assuming the pans are over $20, in that case, you will not be able to return or recieve store credit for them.If you recieve a gift receipt with the pans, you'll be fine.

most likely they will give you the receipt with your gift and you can return it. That is what I had to do also. If not you'll get store credit. Actual the best cookware I have found is Emeril @ Bed, Bath and Beyond. I swear my food tastes better, never sticks and is so easy to clean. I swear by it. My husband even like to cook with it.

I talked to them about their return policy when I did my gift registry with them. They said to try to get gift receipts because your registry DOES NOT count as a receipt. As long as you have receipts, they'll return the gifts, but they will only return 2 gifts without receipts per year, is what the worker told me.

Target has a terrible return policy. If you don't have a gift receipt, they don't allow returns. If the item is discontinued or on clearance, they won't let you return it either.

If they don't give you a gift receipt you can print it up online. I think they still give you store credit but it should be a problem to exchange it for something else you didn't receive.
