My little brother is turning 10 on May 5th. He lives in Philly while I live in St. Paul, MN so I see him once or twice a year. I didn't get him a Christmas present because I was jobless and completely broke but now I'm working and want to get him something amazing to make up for no Christmas gift. I am a 23 year old girl so I'm completely out of touch with what a 10 year old boy would like. It probably should be something kind of unique because he's an only child with my dad and step mom so he basically gets whatever he wants from them, and he's a unique little boy. He's very smart, goes to private school, and enjoys couscous haha. Talking to him is like talking to an adult so I'm completely at a loss, I know he likes paint ball but I don't know anything about it. He also catches on a baseball team, fences, and plays lacrosse. Any ideas for my brother would be awesome, I owe him big time! Thanks!

My grandsons, now 9 (very smart) and 12, enjoyed the CSI forensics kit, which included a fingerprinting set and analyzing solutions, etc., also a magic set with a variety of cards tricks, disappearing and reappearing cups/coins, etc. and a telescope with a book on astronomy. If all else fails you could get him a leather catchers mitt. Good Luck.

Maybe your brother might like a set of scientific reference books about insects, animals, or science. A very unique gift for a very smart child is a real stethoscope so he can listen to his own, everyone else's, and even his pets hearts beat and keep charts of it. I hope these two suggestions help.
