| I had her last semester and two classes over the summer. Is it okay to give her a baby shower gift, or is she techincally not supposed to accept it? |

| i would give her a small gift to show her that u r wishing her the best of luck but dont go all out bc she was ur teacher |

| i think it's an amazing idea. as long as she's not teaching any of your current classes, you have no worries. and even if she were teaching your current classes, it's still fine. it's just a very thoughtful gesture and teachers receive loads and loads of gifts, more than you would realize.... and any help with the baby i'm sure would be quite appreciated.my parents were both teachers and they were so touched when anyone bothered to send them anything, they especially liked to receive notes from students where the students expressed appreciation for what they learned from them... |
