When you send out your wedding shower invites, put in where you are registered at!

The easiest way I've seen is to create a wedding website with information about date/time/location/hotels/etc and add the registry information as one of the topics. Then you can just send out an email or letter to everyone inviting them to view the website. momentville.com is an easy place to create a website for free. Congrats on your wedding.p.s. Generally it is considered impolite for a family member to throw the shower; just a thought you should consider to gauge how it is in your area.

I don't think I'm having a bridal shower either. We registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and it's really cool because they send you little pieces of paper from the store that you can include in your invitations. You just have to write down the registry number (something like that). But it's free!! I think most places do that now, provide little registry cards for you to put in the invitations...

you can put a note in the invitations. and word of mouth is also ok. alot of people appreciate knowing, so they have some kind of idea of what to shop for.

Registry information is perfectly fine in a SHOWER invitation. Word of mouth is also a great way to spread the news.NEVER put any information regarding a gift in a wedding invitation! While stores would love for you to include lttle notice cards in your invitation, it is still socially incorrect to do. Remember the store is just out to make money off you. That's why they have registeries.

You tell everyone, spread the word to your family and friends and if anyone asks you directly, tell them where, but never never write it on an invitation or put it in a card, way tacky.
