|
|
| when i got married, my best friend surprised me with 2 crystal Tiffany wine glasses--it was totally expected and special. i thought it would be appropriate to give the same gift to her, but she registered at Tiffany and according to the registry, has already received quite a few wine glasses, etc., so i don't think the gift would be as special now.anyone have an idea for something unique and memorable that will last a long time? i can't spend more than around $100. thanks! |

| How about a wine carafe or something similar to match the crystal collection she's registered for? |

| How about a waterford crystal picture frame (or one from tiffanys) so she can put in a photo of the two of them at the wedding. Or something special that represents the location they are getting married at/engaged at/honeymooning. For example if they got engaged at a vineyard a bottle of the wine from there? |

| Go to a posh wine store and buy a bottle of really nice wine that will be ready for drinking on a future anniversary (first, tenth, etc). Wines, contrary to popular belief, don't keep getting better and better. But the nicer ones have a longer maturation period. I know you said you wanted something that'll last a long time, but this way the couple will have something to look forward to for a long time. |

| Maybe you could purchase a wine gift box set that will go with the wine glasses. Does she have the Bride and Groom personalized wine glasses for the wedding. The first link offers the wine gift set and the second one offers a home plaque with the Home of (names) established (wedding date)This would be unusual and something that no matter where they make a home it will be with them. There is also a link below that has unusual wine glasses that are joined together by a heart stand along with other very beautiful wine glasses. The other wine glasses will be a set but these will stand out because they are unique in being rare.Maybe you can find a local craftsman who does stained glass plaques and have their wedding date placed into the stained glass. One link has a Thomas Kinkade Wall Clock with a stained glass picture.I hope the links help and you find the ultimate unusual surprise gift.Best of Luck |
