Just hang onto the gift for a few weeks and if she still hasn't called you back, then do whatever you want with it (keep it, return it, give it to someone else). Give her one call each week and if she can't find the time to call you back, it's her loss. She's probably busy with wedding stuff, but that's not a very good excuse for not returning your phone call. Even if she doesn't have time to meet up with you, she could at least call you and tell you she'll get with you when things slow down a bit.

You are now under no obligation to call or contact her further. You are now under no obligation to drop a gift off.If she is unable to return your call...email....she is unable to receive your gift....Simple as that.

If you're not that close, and she's being this much of a butt about getting in touch for you to give her a gift, just take the gift back. Although, this is only Monday, and weekends being what they are for most people, she may not have had a chance to call you back yet. I say give her until this weekend and if you still haven't heard from her at all, take the gift back and don't worry about it anymore.

I would think she might be busy or stressed. Don't get on her case about it. Hold on to the gift. Give it when you can...no rush.
