or should I try to think of something else? It's really hard trying to think of something to get her... I'm 21 but the way, so don't say anything I get her will make her happy, I'm too old to get away with that!

Flowers and cards are always good for mother's day. A few other suggestions is a gift card for a manicure, a pedicure, or a massage. Many places offer good prices for these services. They are definitely luxuries for moms. It is something they won't spend money on alot of times, but something that they enjoy. J.C. Penney is a place that has these services at some of their stores. I have had many services there and very happy with them.

I think you may be surprised to see what alot of us moms want for Mother's Day. I'd be happy with a card and maybe the kids offering to go with me to eat (my treat - they're 14 and 15 years old). Listen carefully - the gift of time is a wonderful thing, especially if you don't get to spend enough time with your mom.If you do live at home, flowers or candy are always stand-by favorites. Flowers are pretty, but they die too soon. That's why my own mom has told me she wishes my brother would bypass the flowers - they're expensive and mom would enjoy a meal out alot better.Candy - Russell Stover or Whitman's. Or if you know her favorite kind, get that.Good luck, hon. Trust me, your mom will be happy with almost anything you get. The older we get, the less we need "things".
