I am going overseas later this year and want to send home tequilia from Mexico, wine from Chile as gifts... I was wondering what restrictions there are on mailing it home... How much can I send, What taxes they may be charged etc. I don't want them to incure charges on presents!!

hmm.......be very careful about sending alcohol in the mail at any time.....may break or whatever.Personally, I dont know the limits on posting it, but I do know that you can bring 2 litres back home with you on the plane duty free.....I cant be sure weather that applies to mailing as well.....you might have to go onto the customs site (type in Australian Customs on google)

why dont you email australian customs and ask.The postage will be high for starters and you will have to pay some sort of customs duty.
