| My husband is turning 30 soon, and he is a huge baseball fan. I was thinking of buying him a 'legacy brick' our local baseball team is repaving the entrance to the stadium and is letting people personalize bricks that will become a permanete part of the stadium. Since he is a huge fan, and loves baseball I thought this would be a clever gift for him. The problem is I can't think of a thing to write on it! I don't want it to just say 'Happy Birthday' because it will be on apart of the stadium and that seems weird. Anybody have any clever birthday/baseball quotes or ideas? I already checked his bday for memorable baseball things that happened on that day and couldn't find any. It's Sept. 7, 1978- and the KC Royals. The brick allows 6 line and 15 characters/line. |

| Guess what, that is my birthday as well, but I am not turning 30 years this year. But the good thing that you have time to figure it out. But you are going to want to have the form turned in soon, if you want it to be ready for his birthday. Now I haven't done this, but I have heard a local radio personality did this for his father, but don't believe what you read on the paper, of where your brick is located, because often enough, that they aren't there, and that they will be hidden, and often enough will be hidden between something big, like a golf cart, or a cart that is used by people for selling. I can't think of any good baseball quotes, and even ones that you can do in 6 lines, and 15 characters/lines. But it should be something special, since you only turn 30 years old once. |

| People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -Terence Mann |
