i am getting married in 3 weeks. My friend of 15 years just yesterday told me he could not be in my weddding. Do i have a right to be angry and betrayed.I did find someone to take his place but it is just the idea. I bought the gifts for the men in our wedding. And they are personalized. so i cannot return them.your thoughts??sorry my fault. he said the reason he cannot be in it is beacuse him and his live in babys momma are having some issues and he dont feel too sociable.also he never called me to tell me. i had to text him because we did not get there wedding response card. and he told me through texting. He also would not take any of my phone callsi have no idea what his issues are he wont call me. wont accept my calls. friends of 15 years should be able to speak about anything!!!

If he can't be in your wedding for a good reason than you should not be mad or at least not act on it because that is not his fault.

I would be angry too. And probably hurt. One day, you'll find out the story on why he came to this conclusion so late. I hope it's good. For now, try to put it out of your mind. You have a wedding coming up and you don't need the downer.

thats just wrong of him, he should of at least told u in person or gave u a call. be the better man and just shrug it off ,this day is for u and ur partner enjoy it to the fullest.u can still give him the gift, youve been a friend to him for 15 years, let him know u are there for him if he needs to talk. there maybe more to his problems then he lets on.

Disappointed, yes...angry, no....he needs to take care of business at home first and I wouldn't fault him for that...yeah he shoulda called but maybe he was too upset to and the way he let you know was easiest for him....

I'd be mad and feel betrayed, too.He waited til 3 weeks before the wedding to tell you he can't be in it because he's not feeling "social". WTF?Obviously, you can write this guy off and list him as "former friend".

My anger level would be pretty high, but don't let it ruin your day. Be angry after, there is plenty of time for that, right now your bride needs you to be focused on what is about to happen not what has already happened and you have no control over.Good luck.
