need to give a special thank-you?

Instead of a traditional hand written thank-you note, what is a unique and special way to show gratitude from receiving two very thoughtful and generous gifts from a friend. One was my 2yr. old daughters birthday present and another was a housewarming gift for a vacation home we just bought. My friend always gives the most appropriate and awesome gifts and i would like to thank her in a special way instead of a regular thank-you note. any suggestions?
