 Posted: Thu May 15, 2008 10:07 am Post subject: why is it when I give the guy a gift he really likes, a week later his affection is back to zero? |

| I decided to try for Marlin and I started making Elli leaves to see if that might help, the next day I went to give him some wine (I didn't have any elli leaves made at that point) when i gave him the wine, his affection level was at 400 not 800, why does the affection level drop over night? and why does it go back to zero?this is the game harvest moon Cute for the DS, so for anyone who was confused sorry. |

| We aren't as emotionally connected to things like that as females are...we do enjoy the attention and value the gifts, we just don't return the favor as well. Also, sports, and short attention spans can conflict with personal feelings. |

| Is the game Harvest Moon DS or Harvest Moon DS Cute? If it is then I had the same problem when I was trying to marry Muffy. I looked up what I could have been doing wrong and I found out that if you pick up weeds that are on the dirt areas around town and shoot them on the ground it makes everyone in town's friendship and(for the bachelors and bachelorretes)affection points decrease.Once I stopped dropping weeds on the ground they're affecrion points remained the same! Try not shooting weeds on the ground and instead putting them in your rucksack and tossing them in your basket or shipping them and I'm sure that Marlin's points wont go down |

| the more expensive the gift, the same he will appreciate it.... there is no hope to make him appreciate anything more than something else. Therefore, just give him free gifts everyday, and do it often so that he at least feels taken care of... thats all a guy wants. clothes on his back and food in his stomach. |
