Make her feel good, she's your mama and it's only one day. If she is the type that doesn't go out alot especially have her dress up and take her out, if she likes that kind of thing. She would have probably said no if she didn't want to right, she just didn't want to say it, moms are very humble sometimes. I wish I could take my mom out today/it's her birthday too, but she's in San Diego and I'm in Detroit. I did send her and my brother a dinner certificate to her favorite resteraunt and flowers and all kinds of things. She's the only one I have.

Why of coarse you should take her out. Prove to her that you are a man and ask where she would like to dine. Don't ask her, if, and force a lady to make a decision that a man should make.

Spend the day with her. I know I would, but I have to go to work for 5 and a half grueling hours.I freaking hate Wal-Mart.

You've done enough. If you've already asked her and and she said no than it's OK. There are no set rules for what you have and don't have to do for Mother's Day. You bought her flowers and a gift and are spending time with her at home. Just acknowledging her and letting her know you care is what truly matters. You are truly a dear Daughter for asking such a sweet question!!! A star for you!!!!

Maybe just taking her out for ice cream would be pretty cool. It seems she would've said "no" if she didn't want to go anywhere. But she is probably happy just to hang out with you. Too bad my Mama has to work today, but I did go see her at that evil job of hers.

You should have taken her out for a nice dinner. Asking her "do you want to go out" is like asking "do you want to be rich?" Of course she wants to go out. It's only once a year and she's your mother. Think of all the daipers she's changed not to mention the bottom wipes.
