|
|
| My first Mother's Day was yesterday and my husband's first Father's Day will be in June. What are some creative gifts I can give him? My daughter will only be 4 1/2 months at that time so won't be able to help me out... but I'd love to give him something that has to do with her. (Like photos, paintings of her hand or footprints, etc) Any ideas? Thanks |

| Last year, I put our 3 kids' footprints on a poster board, found a daddy poem online (it's so sweet). Then I put their footprints around the poem. Wrote the year on there, framed it. He loved it! |

| For my hubby's last father's day, I took a picture of him and my son when they weren't aware. Then I searched online and found a sweet "daddy" poem and posted the picture and poem together in a frame. My son signed and dated, and wrote "I love you". Since your baby is too little to write, maybe you could put her footprints or handprints with the date. |

| What you can do is either get her portrait done and put is on a baseball or a football. I am not sure if where you live if you have a kiddie Kandids at your local babiesrus but they do have some cute things to do for fathers day. Also another suggestion is you can take a picture of your husband and your daughter and then also get her hand prints or feet prints which ever ends up being easiest for you, which may be the feet because most babies have problems with having their hands open when they are unsure of something. Then get a frame and put both of them in it. I did this with my husband from my daughter on Christmas and I also wrote a poem describing what he does for her the only difference is she was a year and a half when I did it.Also go to www.personalcreations.com and maybe you can find something there for fathers day. They have some cute things. I hope this helps. |

| Congratulations on the new baby - what an exciting (and exhausting) time of life! If he likes to cook (grilling counts), buy him an apron with the baby's picture on it. Then use fabric paint to stamp her hand and footprints on it. Photo books are great, and easy to make. Check out http://www.mensbestgifts.com - they have a first Father's Day gifts section. Enjoy the baby! |

| HI,The suggestion that many people are liking for Father's Day is giving a Digital Photo Keychain. You can upload up to 70 pictures of your daughter, you, family, your child's paintings, hand prints, or footprints to the keychain. It makes a very personal gift that he can carry around. Plus you can engrave a message on the back of it from the company below: http://www.wholesalekeychain.com/digital-photo.html |

| I’ll have to suggest www.creanta.comThey turn any image, including your favorite photograph into a hand made painting. What I liked of them is that they are reeeeaally good at capturing the physical likeness. Not to mention very, very affordable. They also combine multiple photos into a single painting. I was very impressed with the results. They’re the nicest people…I highly recommend them.Best wishes!! |
