Give him a personal gift-of-the-month. Who knows your father better than you do? Come up with some great ideas and follow through. Does he love to fish or bowl? If so, the first month would be for you to go fishing or bowling with him. The next month could be you would clean out his garage. Maybe the next month detail his vehicle. One month be his personal handy-man for the day. You can help him out around the house and hang out with him doing his favorite things. It will be a gift he will look forward to each month and strengthen the bond you and he has. Hope this helps. (((Hugs)))

Take some slips of paper and write down things you would like to do for him or with him and mark them payment on demand. He can give them to you whenever he pleases. You just be ready to fulfill your promises. O.K.?

If he already has everything he doesn't need more "stuff". Depending on your father's intersts, you could buy him tickets to a sporting event, concert or play. Get two tickets and make it a father/son event. Take him out to dinner before or after the event.

Please give him something unique this time. Identify some of his true passions, get them photographed and send the photos to http://www.paintyourlife.com. The guys there can make very unique and classical-looking portraits or paintings out of simple photos! You'll be surprised its affordable. They also make wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Check it out at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com
