Our friends have a one month old and just sent out an announcement that they're ready for visitors. Since we've already given gifts at baby shower, birth, etc, we'd like to bring a gift for the new parents (their first child). What's something that new mommies and daddies would appreciate or really need? We'd like to spend 25-50$(we know they don't need babysitting, baby clothes, food or wine - they have 2 grandmommies who both live nearby and help out ALOT)

I don't know about any other mommies but I would love to have a spa gift certificate. Even just a haircut, manicure or pedicure would do!! But I'm sure anything you do for her she would appreciate.

I was going to say a meal that they could throw in the oven... but since they have enough of that.... Diapers are always a plus! Maybe a gift card for them to have a romantic dinner... Or offering to come over and help her with some chores or washing the babys clothes. or helping with something they weren't able to get to before the baby came! Good luck!to the poster a few above... I agree Pregnancy sure does do a deal on a womans hair!!!Maybe a hair cut and/or deep conditioning and Pedicure!
