Tell us a little bit more about your husband and how much money you are willing to spend.

Go to a lunch / dinner where kids are welcome, to inspire him into seeing what a fun child the baby will become!! Also, a VCR or DVD about fatherhood but not a lecturing one. (My wife gave me one called "What's up Daddy?". It has brief snippets of new fathers interacting with the baby! In the background is children's music. I needed a tissue, to be honest!!)Congratulations.

Ask him what he wants for Christmas or birthday if it's coming up and get him that. He'll be surprised when he gets it for Father's day. He'll never see it coming.

I think that you should definatley do something special. Maybe write a letter or card that says he is so happy to have a great dad and that he looks forward to (fishing, hunting.. what ever your husband loves) together some day. Talk about all the things yet to do."There are so many things we have yet to do. I couldn't have asked for a better dad than you!" (Can add that if you like, it just came to me!) Spend the day together as a family or do something that your husband will enjoy. Congratulations!

Please give him something unique this time. Identify some of his true passions, get them photographed and send the photos to http://www.paintyourlife.com. The guys there can make very unique and classical-looking portraits or paintings out of simple photos! It costs less than you might think. They also make wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Check it out at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com
