Hi! My boyfriend is in the military and he just left for basic training. I have been hanging out with his family a lot especially his 8 year old little sister. We have been supporting each other so we have gotten pretty close. The thing is that now I will be going off to study in another country and I wont see her for 6 months. I want to give her a small parting gift. I know she will have a hard time being away from her brother and now me as well so i want to get her something really special. No teddy bears!! She has mountains of them. She is your typical girly girl, she likes pink and purple and glitter and all that stuff. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Do she like makeup. My daughter is 7 years old and she loves kiddie makeup and kiddie purses and little nick nacks that goes in the purse. So try that she might like it! Good Luck!!!!!

If shes girly, do her a basket! Buy a nice basket or pink box and fill it with bits and bobs! Bobbles for her hair, sweets anything you want really! Makes a much more interesting surprise and you can add your own touch! Plus you can spend a little or a lot xx

You should get her a little jewelry box. It will be cute. It's not to girly girly, but it will do. That way you can get her little jewelry so she can know that you really miss her. Not jewelry that is very expensive cause then she might not really wear them.
