Hey nothing says thank you like a gift card and some flowers! Try getting her a gift card to someplace she really likes.

I think flowers would be a great gift! The only bad thing is they cannot be saved. Maybe you should get her something for her office with significance to you...Like a picture in a frame or something..

I had a very helpful instructor when I was in college. I gave her chocolates as a token of appreciation.

flowers are always good...other ideas are something like a gift certificate to a spa, or for a mani/pedi or anything like that....but anything, from the heart, is a great gift.

For sure give her a card with a little note inside telling her exactly how much you appreciate how much she helped you throughout the year---that's what will mean the most to her. Then maybe flowers or a gift card for Starbucks or something?

If you can't do flowers, then write her a letter and explain to her how you feel. I am a teacher and a 25 cent card with a note of Thanks is something that would make my day. Its just your words that can last a lifetime for us. Thanks for even thinking about her.

They say a picture is worth a million words! So, if you know some of her hobbies or passions you could surprise her with a nice little portrait made from a photo depicting exactly what or whom she likes. This can be done at http://www.paintyourlife.com for a reasonable fee and according to your specifications! They also make wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Check it out at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com
