|
| Its my parents 30th Anniversary in 2 weeks and to celebrate they are going on a short holiday. My original plan was to send them on a dinner cruise but that cruise is not running. I considered flowers but due to the short trip isn't viable. They are not really into anything and my mother has to work everynight of the weekend before they leave. They have already booked different things for dinner while theyre away. I don't want to do something with photo's as it won't interest them. I don't want to give them a gift voucher either. They will already give each other gifts, so diamonds, etc are out of the question.I'm looking at spending around $150-$200.Do I try and organise something for their trip away or just something for when they get back? Any suggestions. Please note that I'm from Wollongong (about an hour south of Sydney) New South Wales, Australia. |

| Find out where they will be staying while on holiday and arrange for the hotel to have a vase of beautiful flowers, a bottle of champagne, and a tray of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to their room right after check in. You can do this over the phone easily if you have a credit card. I did this for friends after their wedding and they just loved it. |

| Hi, Mel! I haven't seen your pretty face around for a while! I'm in the same situation w/ my parents they have everything and want nothing. If you have bros. and sisters .Put together a diner party for them, invite ppl that may have been in your parents wedding if possible. I was going to say have it in a nice beach park, but I have to remember you folks are having winter over there now. Nice seeing you again.\Enjoy the ride, Hun |
