| I will be staying with a family in China this summer for almost two weeks and would like to give them a gift, as is customary in China when one visits. I know not to give flowers and to not write with red ink on the card, but what should I give them? I want something that will reflect well but isn't too over the top. And also no cigarettes or wine. |

| You could buy a popular tea with cups included.Or you could buy a beautiful vase and put the tea in it.(If you would like to have a fancy wrapping)...you could buy a fancy silk scarf and wrap the giftwith that.(The scarf could be worn by the woman of the house)!!! |

When hubby and I visit family in China we bring them things that are common in the USA, yet hard to find/extremely expensive in China like :Bath & Body Works lotions or shower gelClinique make-up and night creamVitamins!!!!!Mach razors with replaceable bladesshaving gelAmerican brand after-shaveAmerican brand perfume (like CK, or DKNY)Good luck in China, and if you need any more ideas email me  |
