i stole a shirt months ago in the dressing room. i made it really obvious. i took one shirt in there came back out with none. i have been stealing but not recently. i stopped because i heard the store was investigating. ive stolen a lot more than that but i wasnt caught. they called me to their office a couple of days ago. they kept interrogating me. ibroke under pressure so i just said i stole four pairs of underwear at different times and perfume as a christmas gift. they were being very rude they were laughing and rolling their eyes at me and while they were talking to my mom they were even rude talking to her. ive never been in that position before i just turned 17 like two weeks ago. they had me sign all these paper work oh byw shouldnt have they had my mom there since i was so young i really didnt know what i was doing i was REALLY scared shaking and all all i was thinking about was leaving the store. i feel like crap and i just want to know if that clears when i turn 18

I'm assuming that you work for the store that you stole from. It also sounds like the people who questioned you were with loss prevention and not police. It's not on your record unless you are charged and convicted in court. If the store handles it as a civil matter, you don't have a record. I would strongly advise not using this store as a reference on your future job hunts.
