| If the gift card is mailed, it would take the usual 4-6 weeks, to get, so if you returned it before that, I would think the card would never be sent. |

| Im sure they will cancel your gift card. But I dont see anything illegal about trying. I would not open the PS3, and return it originally. I would spend the gift card completely before returning it. Damn im going to hell. Im just answering a question. As the first poster noted, I think best buy has a 30 day return for cash or you get another gift card. Unless its at the same time, Im sure somebody already thought about what you are thinking.Good luck. |

| If you were to buy a PS3 at the store, they won't be giving you a gift card with the 100 dollars on it. More than likely, it'll be mailed to you. You should read the fine print on that particular promotion. |

| i work at best buy,. havent heard of this deal yet but if it were true:1. they would give it to you straight up.2. they arent stupid and you wouldnt be able to return the ps3 with out the full 100. |
