I like this girl but i dont think she likes me back?

this girl goes to my school and she had a boyfriend but they broke up so after a while her friends found out i liked her and my friends and her friends keep trying to push us together even her ex who is my friend. when i buy her flowers and gifts she takes them but doesnt say anything and after a while she told her friend to tell me not to buy her gift . when i talk to her she gets shy and doesnt have a real conversation with me. what should i do should i keep trying or just leave it
