a visit is not custody. Call a legal help line in your state to answer your question.

He can't get it stopped just because your son is going away on a summer vacation. But if your ex stops working, it will stop, but it will go against him, unless he does go to court to get it changed.on the 17 and not in school thing, there are different laws in different states on that.. Some say you will get support until your child is 18 or out of high school. My sister didn't graduate high school until she was 19 so my dad had to pay until she graduated. Some states say that if your child quites school, then you no longer have to pay. If I were you I would call the Attorney General office in your state, and ask them, they will no the laws that govern your state, and it won't cost you a thing just to ask them..~

He has to pay. The law is the same in every state..if he is the father he is responsible until your son turns age 18. This has nothing to do with you..it is the state making him fullfil his obligation as a father. Right now he is building up debt...contact Health and Human Services..they will garnish his pay and send you a check.

He has the lawyer, so I guess he has the upper hand. Making nice will get you a lot further than making ugly. It sounds like he has never bonded with the boy. It is hard to bond when you are just thought of as a wallet.
