I'm not getting any signal for my sharper image SR277 outdoor speakers. What can I do to fix this problem?

My family gave me these speakers as a christmas gift. And now that the weather is good, I tried to set up my gift. But the transmitter isn't recieving any signal. My son and I tried everything to try to get these speakers to work. We tried plugging the transmitter everwhere and we still haven't recieved a signal.
