well I'm not married ...YET, but soon will be, like next month, and for my 5th yr anniversary as bf/gf which was just a few weeks ago, he gave me jewelery, a diamond bracelet, and earrings, then he took me out to the place where we first met, and he serenaded me with flowers music and fine wine, it was beautiful, and then we went to a 5 star hotel and made wild passionate love all night, it was amazing, to end our anniversary as bf/gf it was amazing, next year we'll be celebrating our 1st year anniversary as husband and wife i could just imagine what he has in store for me, i know i have a special thing planned for him, but i want us to get through with the wedding first before thinking about the anniversary...lol!

We are celebrating our 5th anniversary this year and we are both just and in love today if not more than the day we said "I DO". This year for our anniversary we are taking a short trip to where he proposed to me...(our daughter will be with her grandma) then and there I will present him with a kiss for every day we have been married (herseys chocolate kisses that is) then when we get back to town we will go out to dinner at our favorite restaurant and pick up our little girl go home watch our favorite family move (Winnie the Pooh and the Hefalump) put our little girl to bed and snuggle in our bedroom until the sun comes up....Of course we aren't doing alot because we have a little one at home and one on the way! LOL. Guess that's proof that we really are in love! It will be the best ever because he will know I think about every day we are together!Momm_Bear

Honestly, the best I ever got was my ring I wanted for months and months. It is beautiful. It's a Simon G with a flower, and a pink diamond in the center of the flower... it even has rose colored gold. It's so pretty! Smile It was so special because he knew I really really loved this ring and he got it for me for my fourth anniversary gift. This year will be our fifth...The best I gave was a gift card for a sporting good's store... BUT, it was for the amount he needed to get a nice starter archery set-bow, arrows, target... he had made indications that he wanted to start doing target practice/archery so I saved up for it and it was so fun to give it to him! Smile He still enjoys it, and it's a good, constructive thing for him. One thing I try to do is during normal, every day conversations listen with the intention of hearing things about what he may really want. Sure, in passing he'll show interest in something, but I mean, what does HE WANT? I'll make a note of those things and do some homework-how much does it cost is the main thing so I know how much to save up... What overall does your man enjoy-hobbies, places to go, events/sports he likes? Since this is such a huge milestone, make it trully memorable! Especially since typically, it seems that a lot of pressure is on the man to do the brunt of it, so suprise him with something really neat on your anniversary...And don't forget, sometimes even if it's simple, it could be the MOST meaningful thing possible-a quiet, wonderful meal at home, watching your favorite movies together, drinking your favorite wine or champagne, eating expensive chocolates, and maybe taking a nice soak together in the tub with scented candles and lots of bubbles...OR, you could go crazy and do something HUGE... it's up to you. Gauge it on his enjoyment. Really, if you know he's thrilled, that will be the best part of the day! :)Have a GOOD TIME! And happy anniversary! Congratulations! Smile

Congratulations!I would think that being able to celebrate 30 happy years would be the best gift of all. Too many marriages won't even last half as long..
