I want to get him something unique and would even consider getting a gift certificate to paintball or something totally different, but I'm also kind of broke so I'm looking for something around $100 (can go a little higher if it's worth it).

Most of the time, your older parents only want a card. For the most part, they have all they want. Respect is a top item. If you HAVE to buy something, how about a skydiving experience? Or a few lessons in scuba. How about a scenic flight in a small engine plane in the area that you live in. All of those are unique and fun things. Most people won't get them for themselves AND if you find it is too expensive, get with your other siblings and see if you can split the cost.
