|
|
| In three weeks I will be having a very small destination wedding at a bed and breakfast in a Vinyard. The Groom and I will be joined by 3 other couples for the weekend. As gifts for our friends we have purchased picnic baskets that contain place settings and wine glasses for two. We will also be providing a gourmet lunch for each couples basket, so that they can enjoy a nice romantic picnic. No for the part where I need your help... I am trying to write thank you notes to put into the baskets, however I am stumped. I need some help with the wording.. can anyone help? |

| just say something like "We are so greatful that you were able to join us for our special day" Thank them for thier friendship and witnessing your wedding. Wish them a good trip home, tell them how much it meant to you that they were able to travel to be at your wedding, etc. Thats VERY sweet of you, by the way! Congrats, honey!!! |

| Research the customs of your "destination" wedding location. Word the thank you notes they way they would say it. This will be a great tie in to the style of your wedding. You could also print your thank-you notes on paper that has a photograph "watermark" in the background. (check Microsoft word's help section to see how to do this) One beautiful idea would be to use a picture of yourselves doing your vows as the watermark.Otherwise speak from your heart in the notes. |

| wow...thats a great gift! I would absolutely love something like that. I would say something along the line of "thank you for taking the time to celebrate such a special day with us. It means so much to both of us that you could be here. To show our appreciation we would like you to enjoy a romantic picnic lunch on us. ...then give the when and whatnot details to the lunch. |

| Hi and congratulations! It sounds wonderful! You know what? I don't think you really need a "thank you letter." I am assuming that these 3 couples will be bringing you a gift or a card with cash and/or a gift card. You will then need to send a more personal thank you after the wedding. At THAT time you can once again thank them for attending your wedding. For the baskets, I would enclose a small note with something like.....Thank you for attending our wedding weekend. As a thank you, we hope that you will enjoy this picnic basket and lunch. Enjoy your weekend![your name/groom's name] |

You should just tell them how thankful you really are. Just start out saying thank you for all that you have done and so on.. and maybe end with thanks again! Just tell them how you feel:) Well i hoped i helped a little. It may not be the best awnser but i tried! |
