Something he probably would love for the rest of his life...or something that he would value most..apart from my love for him?

We made a slideshow video of pictures our daughter's first year, including ultrasounds and belly pictures and had it put on to a DVD. It was also set to music. We showed it at her birthday party and plan on giving it to her when she turns 18.

I got my son a "baby Tad" from Leap Frog. This was 6 years ago and up until 5 months ago he was still sleeping with it. It has shapes on the bib and they learn how to identify the shapes with lights and songs. It also has a bedtime setting that will play music for 1-6 minutes and then it will automatically shut off. This helped my son so much when he was going to bed on his own. I have it put up right now and I am going to give it back to him when he is older....

You can send your favorite pictures of your son to http://www.photoartomation.com/Photo_Collage.htm Their professional artists will make a wonderful collage of them. You can then order a large poster print and add a personal message on the top of the image. It's a great site to create a really personalized photo art gift for someone special in your life! I always use this site to order gifts for people--including myself.

I bet the best keepsake you can give your baby is a handmade portrait or painting made from one of his most cute photos. Just send the photo(s) to the guys at http://www.paintyourlife.com and they will create wonders out of that innocent looking photo. You will definitely like it, and so will everyone who sees it. The service is fast and fairly priced. Take a look and judge for yourself! The same company also makes wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Visit http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com
