My boyfriend and I have known each other for about 16 years, and will be dating for four years in July. We have lived together for the past two years. Currently, he is in Iraq Sad. Last year I bought him an Omega watch, which was really expensive. I want to buy him a nice gift that he can have when he comes home and a gift I can physically send to him so he has something to open on that day instead of waiting until he comes back . I need ideas for both! Please help!

If you're sending something to Iraq.. I'd be careful with what you send-- especially something expensive. I know this sounds silly but its cute-- if he likes M&M's you can personlize them.If he likes sports.. get him a team jersey. It will remind of home and make him happy.I spent 16 months overseas.. even the littlest things made me happy. When he comes home-- how about a weekend trip to a resort or bed and breakfast? Sometimes just spending time together is all you'll need Smile

I think you should give him something memorable from the heart. Special art picture is a unique gift for everyone! I would highly recommend you visit http://www.photoartomation.com/ArtWork/anniversary.htm They convert ordinary photos into art. You can add text such as a personal message on top of the image. You can instruct them to send the artwork directly to the person you want! I sent them my favorite picture of my boyfriend and me and they made several preview samples of altered photos for my consideration. All of them were perfect. I chose one of them I liked the most and order a canvas stretched print. That was awesome! My boyfriend was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to him as birthday present. It's a great site to create a really personalized photo art gift for someone special in your life! I always use this site to order gifts for people--including myself!

Have you ever considered sending him a handmade portrait or painting of yourself – in your most cute appearance? You can select a suitable photo and then send it to http://www.paintyourlife.com and they will create a wonderful portrait out of it – on oil, pencil, charcoal or on canvas and even deliver it to him. Try it out! It doesn’t cost much. The same company also has unique paintings of all types on canvas. So, visit them at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com and take a look.

A round flask would be very handy for him. And convenient too. Check this out http://www.executivegiftshoppe.com/hip-flasks.html
