| Depends how many years they have been married. What about making something like a photo album, get pictures of them when they were dating, got married, had you, etc. Ask their friends to write little notes that will bring back memories of a certain times. I love getting unique gifts it shows that someone cares enough to put in the effort. |

| if it is a special anniversary, i.e. 30th 40th or Golden, throw them a nice party w/ buffet and invite all their old friends and gather up old photos, they will love it. i did this for my parents' 50th and it actually got to my dad, who never shows his feelings. it was very emotional and a lot of his friends that he sees every few years all got together at the same time, pictures to show around and my mother just loved it. |

| Our daughter recently gave us two gifts for our 34th anniversary.She gave us a gift card to our favorite white-tablecloth restaurant......and his and hers matching robes.She's 23.....and we loved our presents. |

| I do not know if you have brothers aand sisters or not , but if you do or do not , then try this .Set up a night out for Mom and Dad ( a special date night where everything is set up for them )You do not have to set it ouside the home, rather you can cook the meal and get menus made up, put candles on the table and when they come in , tell them surprise , someone has set up a candlelight dinner for them and afterwards desert and the they can retire to their bedroom where they will find champagne if you are old enoug and if not the non alcoholic apple cider will do . Tell the night is theirs to do as they please , and they will not be disturbed.I hope this helps you and is kind of what you were looking for . Good luck and God bless . |
