My fifth year wedding anniversary is coming up and I want to have a personalized puzzle made with our wedding picture and a few more personalizations. The thing is...wooden puzzles are so much more expensive. Do you think a cardboard puzzle would count?

You are quite the traditionalist huh?Yes, I would say it is close enough to count, though if you really want to feel better about it, get a plank board from Home Depot or Lowe's and have a section routed out where the puzzle could fit inside when put together (sort of a make shift frame).Incidentally, rather than a 5 year old wedding photo, why not spice it up a notch and have the puzzle be a sexy yet classy shot of you wearing a new piece of lingerie for yoru hubby? He will love the flair and if you can get a female photographer to take the picture, then his mind will always be at ease.

How neat!! Yes, cardboard is made from wood pulp. BUT, if you want to be true to a "wood gift" - I'd suggest buying a small wood box at the craft store to present the puzzle in.
