I am not very crafty so something like scrapbooks wouldn't work. I just graduated high school so I don't have a big budget for this. For mothers' day we got her a new fossil purse so that option is out of the window. I really want something that is special. Like one year her sister got a really old picture of them and had it redone and framed. So that was a really special gift and then I saw on that Denise Richards' show and they took her mom who passed away's clothing and sent it to be made into a teddy bear. I don't want just an ordinary gift. Help me!

The best gift my children ever got me was staying out of trouble.

When my mom turned 50 my family threw her a suprise party and me and my dad got her a cake that looked like a hill with flowers and stuff on it because of how when you turn 50 its referred to as "over the hill"

Try to get as many pictures over her from all her birthdays as you can or pics from over the years and try to make it into a little book or a thick card(you dont have to be crafty....) and find a picture of a really old wrinkly lady and have it as the last picture then the last page have a coffin that says something like happy over the hill or something. It would be cute. Or go to spencersgifts.com and they have funny stuff.http://www.spencersonline.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.browse/categoryID/47417b60-8dce-4388-80c4-68a60938b104/
