handmade birthday gift idea for my husband ...... help plz........sooooooooooonI would like to make just a lovely handmade gift - i can do everything for it....... painting, drawing, sewing etc. He is 30 years old. We got married 2 years back. His birthday- 5 july. He is a very sober, god fearing , loving and caring husband. He doesn't have drinking or smoking habits. He is really fond of mobils, laptops, digital cameras, cars n bikes . He has all these things and he gets a handsome salary. I cant buy expensive gifts as i am a house wife. So I give him different types of handmade cards and gifts and he likes them very much. How can I celebrate his birthday in a loving manner without spending much money ( I am unemployed).

My husband always loved a special meal. Maybe do some wonderful food and a cake or pie or whatever would make him happy. A nice picture of you or the two of you would be nice. I think giving him a "coupon" good for whatever you can think would put a smile on his face is fun too. Have fun.

Men are like bears.Think about what bears like.Food, comfort, and entertainment.Forget about the handmade dust catchers.Bake a pie, fluff his pillows, and learn to belly dance.

if he makes a handsome salary surely you have access to money???If all you get is a small housekeeping budget that does not allow any 'treats spending' then I worry for you.Are you unemployed cos you can't get a job or because he won't let you?

You should spend a little piece of his handsome salary on a gift. You shouldn't be forced to make gifts every year if he can afford it. You can find a thoughtful gift for an affordable price. I've used http://www.universityfashions.com a couple times in the past to get custom embroidered gifts. Since he's into laptops and has a few other hobbies and interests, it shouldn't be hard to get something personalized that he can use.Good Luck!

You could make him a pillowcase, the sewing involved would be minimal, and fabric paint is great, as well as iron-on items. You could iron on a photo of the two of you. It would remind him of you, sweet dreams.
