How can you track a stolen iPOD?

Author Message Ana M Yahoo User Posted: Sat Jun 28, 2008 6:07 pm    Post subject: How can you track a stolen iPOD? I got a 3rd Generation Nano as a graduation gift, and it got stolen on graduation. It sucked pretty bad. No one at my school knows who took it. I was hoping since i have the serial number i could track it down, it has my name on it and everything so if i can find the person who took it, i can prove it's mine. HELP ME PLEASE! I don't think there is any way you could trace an ipod unless you actually saw it in the person's possession. Unfortunately, that's what makes them so appealing to steal. That's terrible to have happened to you. I am so sorry. You might talk to the principal, but I doubt (s)he could do anything. Chances are they sold it by now and it's in someone else's hands. Or once they find out you know they have it they'll sell it.
