Author Message simple Yahoo User Posted: Wed Jul 02, 2008 11:13 am    Post subject: help with gift ideas? Okay, my dad is moving into a new place and I wanted to send him a housewarming gift. Biggest problem is that I am having to mail everything...so I wanna do stuff that's lightweight. That kindda crosses out appliances and candles...I was thinking fire extinguisher, but that's heavy, too. I searched other housewarming questions and just need some new ideas. He wants to buy furniture and decor himself, to finally get matching things the way he wants them, so I can't really help out there. I'm afraid to get him a gift card, cuz he's bad with $$. And he won't walk into a walmart or other large store...Any lightweight ideas for a housewarming gift?
